Rodwood cut Frazsiers' lead to two

Title-chasing Rodwood cut favourites Frazsier's Whip's LIME St Catherine FA Major League lead to two points following their come from behind 3-1 win over arch Portmore rivals Wanderers, at the Passagefort field over the weekend.

The victory saw Rodwood progress to 28 points, from 14 matches, while Frazsier's are on 30. Samar Rowe gave Wanderers a ninth-minute lead, but goals from Cleveland Hall (26th), Andrae Austin (44th) and top strikerMark Walters (69th) handed the visitors the victory.

Frazsier's could extend their lead atop the standings this Saturday as they play Tru-Juice, a match they are expected to win. In other games, last Saturday, Andre Simmonds (40th, 60th), struck a double as third place DB Basoval edged McCook's Pen 2-1. Corey Sewell (44th) netted for McCook's Pen. Christian Pen continued their rich vein of form as they defeated Portmore rival Portsmouth 2-1.

Tru-Juice picked up a rare win as they turned back struggling Dunbeholden 2-0, while Black Lion had a poor 0-0 result against bottom club Spanish Town Police.
