I am living in America and have been reading your column often. It is interesting. Hope you can help me out.

I left Jamaica at a very young age. Nevertheless, I left some bad memories behind. At the age of 12, I got pregnant by a policeman. I will put his name, because I am so interested in locating him. He had sex with me once and I got pregnant. When I found out about my pregnancy, I contacted him. He told me the baby could not be his. I had never been with another man. He was the first for me and the sex was not intentional. He forced me into it.

I tried on several attempts to reach him and I was told he lived in Canada with his wife. I had to run away from home because of the punishment I would have suffered from my grandpa. This was years ago, and now I am interested in locating him. His name is ... . He left quite a few years now. If anyone knows of his whereabouts, then I would be interested to know.

It is not fair for a grown man in the police department to do that to a young child, and now I am suffering with bad memories. Looking back on the past, these things could never have happened in another country, so sad to know that a man who one should trust would cause so much pain and suffering. Pastor, I want to find him to let him know he has a child, and the pain he caused me. Thank you.

I regret hearing you were sexually ravished at age 12 and that you became pregnant. You would observe that I have deleted the name of the police station and also the name of the ex-policeman. I am hoping this man would see your letter and contact me. You have made very serious allegations against him.
