BSI probes St Catherine shooting
The Bureau of Special Investigations (BSI) has launched a probe into an incident in which an unidentified man was fatally shot by the police at South Street in Old Harbour, St Catherine, about 4:30 a.m. on Saturday.

A release from the police yesterday said the man is believed to be in his 20s, and is of dark complexion, slim build. The body is about 165 centimetres (5 feet 5 inches) long.

He was clad in a grey shirt, a grey merino, and a pair of brown corduroy pants.

One .380 pistol - serial number 87248351 - and a magazine loaded with three 9 mm rounds were seized in the incident.

The matter has been reported to the Independent Commission of Investigations.
