HEART student dies in hospital after crash - News - Jamaica Star

A HEART/NTA student died as a result of injuries he received Sunday morning when the motor vehicle he was driving crashed along Caledonia Road in Mandeville, Manchester.

Police have identified the student as 23-year-old Courtney Hutchinson of Bloomfield Street in Mandeville.

Reports from the Mandeville police are that about 3 a.m., Hutchinson was driving a 1999 Honda Civic motor car towards Mandeville when he reportedly overtook a car, lost control of the motor vehicle and then collided with a Honda CRV.

The police said both drivers sustained injuries and were taken to hospital, where Hutchinson died while being treated. The other driver was treated and released.

The Mandeville police are investigating.
