TEEN BEATEN FOR BOUNCING WOMAN

A woman who allegedly held a 13-year-old girl and allowed her daughter to rain blows on the teen has been charged.

The spectacle which occurred last Thursday has shocked many persons who witnessed it.

The Star was informed that about 1:30 p.m., the victim was crossing a section of Burke Road in Spanish Town, near Tastee Patties, when she accidentally bounced the woman who had two children. When the teen who was in uniform got on to the side of the road, she was attacked.

"The woman grabbed her head under har arm. She then allowed one of her daughters to beat her in her face," Michelle Treasure, an alleged witness said.

The police was called and the woman was arrested.

When The Star contacted the Spanish Town police, it was confirmed that a woman was in their custody. She is to face the court later this week.
