Star Tell Me Pastor

I do not love my daughter
Dear Pastor,

I want to give up my child for adoption. Her father is African. He is disrespectful to me. I want back my happy life. My child is eight years old and it is difficult to support her. It is too costly. I am trying to love her, but I am too stressed. Therefore, I want to give her away.

How do I find happy parents for her? Thanks, pastor.

S.

Dear S.,

I regret hearing you are unable to support your daughter and that you feel that you are suffering from stress. You have found yourself unable to love your daughter. You seem to be indicating that her African father has not treated you well and it has caused you not to love the child you have by him. Therefore, in the child's interest, you have decided to give her up for adoption.

I suggest you call the Adoption Board and make an appointment. They are helpful people there. They will advice you of the process.

Please, do not make any private arrangement with any single person or married couple to take your daughter. Do everything through the Adoption Board.

Their numbers are listed. If you need further assistance, write again.

Pastor
