Murder accused again remanded

The man who has been charged with the murder of University of Technology (UTech) student, Alex Brown, was again remanded in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Friday.

He is Lorenzo Hall who is to return to court on February 21.

The prosecution told the court that the post-mortem report was still outstanding.

Allegations are that Brown was visiting a female friend in the community of Elletson Flats.

While there, Hall reportedly arrived and an argument developed between them.

It is reported that a knife was then used to stab Brown in the chest .

The police were summoned and Brown was taken to the University Hospital of the West Indies where he died while being treated.
