I have been reading your column since high school and it has helped me a lot. I am now in university and, whenever I can buy THE STAR, I do so. I have a boyfriend. whenever we have a disagreement and I tell him how I feel, he says I am reading too much Dear Pastor and I am sounding like him.

One day my boyfriend and I went on a date. While we were in the back of a taxi, he was trying to fondle me and I used a pin to prick him about three times. he pulled his hands away and asked me what I was doing. I told him I was following Dear Pastor's advice. Pastor, you said a girl can protect herself by using a pin to stick guys when they are going too far on a date.

I am not ready

I love my boyfriend, but he has been asking me to have sex with him, and I am telling him that I am not ready. It is two weeks now I have not seen him because I refused to have sex with him. He told me he is not going to buy "puss in bag".

Pastor, I am prepared for him to go. We used to get along very well until he started pressuring me to have sex. I asked him if he has had sex since we are friends, and he told me no, but I do not believe him because the guys he is moving with are wild and they go out with girls who claim to be hot. He goes with them.

I am a Christian and my virginity is intact. I don't think I should give it to this man because he refuses to go to church. I am 19.

You are a smart young woman. Your boyfriend doesn't understand that when a girl says no, she means no. He has to learn to respect you. He should not try to fondle you. He has not been in touch with you because you refused to go to bed with him. You should allow him to go his way. Don't beg him to stick around. He does not seem to be the type of man you would love to have as a husband. Continue to be a good Christian. You will find a good man in the days ahead. Remember, you are still very young.
