The man who has been charged for the murder of University Of Technology (UTech) student, Alex Brown, was yesterday remanded until February 3 when he appeared in The Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court. The matter was set for the said date after the accused, Lorenzo Hall, told the court that his attorney was Keith Bishop. However, Bishop was not present when Hall's matter was heard. Hall was ordered to submit his fingerprints to the police. Meanwhile, the prosecution told Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey that the post-mortem report was still outstanding. Court files indicate that Brown was visiting a female friend in the community of Elletson Flats. While there, Hall reportedly arrived and an argument developed between them. A knife was then used to stab Brown in the chest . The police were summoned and Brown was taken to the University Hospital of the West Indies where he died while being treated. |
