Dear Pastor,

Sometimes I feel like giving up. But because I know my sons need me, I have to hold on.

They attend a primary school. I do love them. They don't live with me but I go to visit them often. Their father and I are still together, but I just need some strong prayers. I go to church regularly with the kids. Sometimes I feel like I am alone in the world. So, please pray for me. I am depressed from head to toe.

Perhaps you feel depressed because you feel that nothing is going on for you. You did not say whether or not you are working. Depression should not be taken lightly, so if you constantly feel depressed, make an appointment to see a family counsellor for professional help. Ask your pastor and the members of your church to pray for you and visiting your medical doctor might be necessary.
