Two charged for double murder

After intensive investigations by detectives in Clarendon, two men have been charged for the January 4 double murder on York Circle Road, York Town, in the parish.

They are: 24-year-old tractor operator Ian Miller, otherwise called 'Bud leg', 'Pepe', or 'Roy Fowl', of Bullard Content in the parish and 27-year-old Ross McConnell Copeland, otherwise called 'Tuffy', of Lionel Town Housing Scheme, also in the parish.

Police say that these two men were among the four responsible for the deaths of Myron Morrison and Carmita Harrison, who were shot dead on York Circle Road. The other two men are still being sought by the police.

Both Miller and Copeland are to appear in the Clarendon Resident Magistrate's Court on January 31, to answer to the charges.
