Bounty Killer - Winston Sill Dancehall giant Bounty Killer has released a few tracks which indicate his intention for a positive 2012 in music. One of the tracks is a collaborative effort with Wayne Marshall titled Be On The Alert. The track, which cautions parents and the wider society to be on the lookout for paedophiles and non-progressive elements, was produced by Payday Music. Publicist Cross Cris believes the song will definitely resonate with well-thinking people. "Bounty Killer is a legend and a phenomenon in his own right and his songs are normally accepted by his fan base, but this song transcends dancehall and reggae itself," Cross Cris told THE STAR recently. "The message is universal and it is an uncommon recording from him," he added. Bounty Killer has also recorded and released a song titled Thine Will Be Done On Earth on the Cool Down riddim. This song, according to critics thus far, is a 2012 prayers' anthem and symbolises the legendary status that Killer has generated over the years. "The man (Bounty Killer) is in his zone right now. He sings and deejays on these tracks with a lot of conviction. Even persons who don't readily accept his songs are calling me from all over the world attesting to the solidarity of the songs," proclaimed Cross Cris. nurturing young talents Bounty Killer has been fervent in making good music for the past three years; he has also set for himself the task of nurturing young talents within his Alliance Next Generation camp. The dancehall icon has implemented and instilled in his camp a series of morals and principles that he believes will assist the members to stay true to themselves and be more focused. "If you look at what Bounty Killer has done for other artistes over the years, one would think that this man's contribution to dancehall is tantamount. The morals and principles are not just for Alliance Next Generation artistes. They can, and should, be used by people in general, because the messages they contain are priceless," Cross Cris highlighted. |
