Constant Spring's ace striker O'Neil "Chippy" McDonald, a former Jamaican international, captured the 2011 JNBS Masters League MVP and Rookie of the Year awards last Thursday at the league's presentation ceremony held at the Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica auditorium on Trafalgar Road, St Andrew.

McDonald scored 14 goals for the season, and led Constant Spring to an unprecedented sweep of all four titles in the JNBS-sponsored Kingston and St Andrew Masters League Association (KSAMLA) competitions.

Constant Spring formalised their dominance over the Masters League this season by picking up the JNBS Champions Cup, the Peter Cargill Cup as the mid-season champions, the inaugural JNBS FA Cup, named in memory of Delroy Seixas, and the JNBS Masters League championship title.

Other big winners at the awards presentation were Denton Shedden of Barbican who claimed the Golden Boot as the League's top marksman with 18 goals. Carl Sewell of Constant Spring was the coach of the year, while Wayne Campbell, who inspired Telecom Strikers to a second-place finish in the JNBS championship final, was the manager of the year.

Meanwhile, Christian Ambassadors, who completed the season without receiving any yellow or red cards, were the most disciplined team. Brown's Town, who knocked out defending champions Barbican at the quarter-final stage, were the most improved team. Reinaldo Francis was awarded the golden whistle as the referee of the year and Sylvia Davis was the match commissary of the year.

Constant Spring's utility player Desmond Tucker was named the captain of the 2012 JNBS-KSAMLA All Masters (26 players) squad.
