Manhunt launched for Jamaican |

Law enforcers in Canada have launched a manhunt for a Jamaica-born man who attacked, choked then sexually assaulted a 26-year-old woman at a friend's home on Saturday. The Jamaican has been identified as 29-year-old Shawn Andrew Miller. He is wanted for sexual assault, forcible confinement and overcoming resistance by choking. warrant A warrant has been issued for his arrest. According to a report in the Calgary Sun, the woman went to visit two friends at a home in Rundle and the suspect whom she didn't know was also there. At some point, the woman's friends reportedly left, leaving her and the man alone. Calgary police say an argument erupted; he attacked her, choking then sexually assaulting her for more than 10 minutes. THE STAR understands that the woman is now recovering in hospital. |
