The police have released the names of the two persons killed in a double murder in York Town, Clarendon on Wednesday night.

They have been identified as 34-year-old Myron Morrison and 42-year-old Beatrice Harrison both from the community.

Reports reaching THE STAR are that about 8 p.m., Morrison and Harrison were among a group of persons standing outside a yard in an area known as York Circle when they were approached by men who opened fire on them.

THE STAR understands that Morrison died on the spot while Harrison succumbed to her injuries at hospital.

Investigations are ongoing.
