The Bureau of Special Investigations has launched a probe into the killing of a 39-year-old man by the police in Portmore on Saturday.

Dead is Sean 'Munda' Morgan of Cassandra Way in Waterford, Portmore.

Reports from the Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) are that, about 11 p.m., Morgan was fatally shot by the police along Manhertz Road in the community.

According to the CCN, the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) is also probing the matter.
