The police are now searching for a second suspect in connection with a shooting incident in the community of Southboro in Portmore, St Catherine, yesterday morning.

Information reaching THE WEEKEND STAR is that shortly after 8 a.m., two men entered the community and were confronted by residents who became suspicious of their behaviour. It is reported that one of the men pulled a gun and fired several shots at the residents.

The police were summoned and one of the men was held. Investigators are theorising that the shooting may have been gang related.

The St Catherine South police are investigating.
