Court hears that ... JEALOUS EX-GIRL BITES WOMAN'S BREAST

A young woman accused of attacking and biting her ex-boyfriend's girlfriend on her breast in a jealous rage was brought before the court yesterday.

The woman, 19-year-old Loretta Dunn, of a Kingston 11 address, was remanded after pleading not guilty to assault in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court.

Dunn is answering to charges of assault occasioning bodily harm and wounding with intent.

Dunn's case will again be mentioned on January 24 and a medical report must also be provided on that date.

It is alleged that both the complainant and her boyfriend were at home watching television when the accused forced a door open on the premises.

It is further alleged that she entered and threw what appeared to be hot water on the complainant, then used a ratchet knife to inflict wounds to her head.

The complainant was said to have also been bitten on her right breast, which resulted in wounds, which caused her to bleed.

The complainant's boyfriend is said to have pulled away Dunn during the attack.

Following a report which was made to the police, Dunn was charged.
