Krista Henry, Staff Reporter Daydreams heads to a new venue for the Christmas staging, which the promoters say is nothing short of 'amazing.' Scheduled to be staged at the Hope Gardens for the first time on December 18, Daydreams 'Tropical Paradise' is looking to be another memorable affair. The all-inclusive party, hosted by Wright Image Entertainment and sponsored by Smirnoff, will see music by Coppershot, Richie B, Jazzy T and newcomers DJ Cruise. Speaking with The STAR, Daydreams promoter PJ Wright said, "we're having Daydreams at Oasis Drive at Hope Gardens, which is a part of the property that has never been used for party, and can I tell you the location is amazing." The white-themed party is getting into the holiday mood with its tropical-paradise theme, as Wright encouraged patrons to come out in their colours.
"Come out in pretty colours. The venue is grass and pavement, but I would tell females to come out in their slippers rather than high heels," Wright added.
According to the promoter, patrons can expect another great staging of the event which has been rocking the entertainment scene for a number of years.
"we always try to focus on giving people a great experience. It's Christmas and people have a lot of things to spend their money on and we want to ensure that with Daydreams your money is well spent," Wright said. So there will be great food, great decor, great vibes, music and an abundance of bars. We have a new guy on the scene playing as well, DJ Cruise, and he's pretty good."
With the general election being held a week after Daydreams, Wright is not concerned his party will be negatively affected.
"Its just up to the promoters to provide good entertainment for people to want to go to," He said. |
