Dear Pastor,

I am seeking your advice. I am 18 years old and last Wednesday I had sex with my boyfriend for the first time. The second time we had sex was during the day and we did not protect ourselves and now I am fearful that I might be pregnant, even though I have not yet missed my period but it is about due.

I am in no financial position to support a child, neither is my boyfriend. I live with my mom and stepfather and they will not support a child. My boyfriend lives with his aunt. I have not yet taken a pregnancy test but I am dreadfully fearful of having a child because I am not ready mentally or financially.

I know I was foolish to have unprotected sex, but should I abort it if I am pregnant?

By now if you have not seen your period, you should go to the doctor. I hope that if you are pregnant, you would not abort the pregnancy.
