Star Tell Me Pastor

Consider him trash

Dear Pastor,

I have a problem. I am 42 years old and I am very attractive, caring, clean, honest, loving and hard-working. I was going out with this guy for six years. Everything was going well and suddenly all hell broke loose. He came into my life with nothing. We were building a life together. He started drinking and having a relationship with a girl next door. She was 20 years old. And at the time, he went into a bar and said some very displeasing things, even what happened in the bedroom. This guy took every last penny I had.

Sometimes one doesn't know what one has until they lose it. We had good sex. The only thing we did not do was anal sex. I can go on and on. He wanted us to do anal sex, but I was not willing to do that.

L.B., Manchester

Dear L.B.,

It's too bad that you spent your money on a man who only wanted to use you. I know that some people may blame you for giving him so much. But I believe that you are a good woman and you love this man and you thought he meant well and would make you his wife. He came to you with nothing and you gave him your all. And, instead of treating you well, he got involved with another woman right under your nose. Please, don't blame yourself for what he has done.

This young woman will get nothing from him, except sex, because he has nothing. Consider him trash. You didn't have to get rid of him, he became a drunkard and left. I repeat, too bad you spent so much on him but he can never say that you weren't good to him. Wish him well and make sure that in the future you do not throw your money on a man. At your age, you should be saving as much as you can, so that you will be able to live comfortably when you reach retirement age.
