14-y-o dies after being hit by vehicle |

A 14-year-old boy died as a result of injuries he received when he was hit by a motor car on Washington Boulevard, Kingston 20, on Saturday evening, police said. The dead youth has been identified as Steven McIntosh of Washington Gardens, Kingston 20. Reports reaching THE STAR from the Duhaney Park police are that about 6:15 p.m., McIntosh was standing beside the roadway when a Honda CRV motor car hit him. The police said McIntosh sustained multiple injuries and was taken to hospital, where he died while being treated. Police said the driver of the motor car was subsequently taken into custody, and has since been interviewed, issued with a warning notice, and released pending the outcome of further investigations. |
