After-party set for tomorrow

Following a successful staging of 12 to 12, held at Fort Clarence beach in Portmore last Sunday, the promoters are thanking all patrons who turned out.

As part of their appreciation, the promoters are staging an after-party tomorrow night at Club Impulse, New Kingston.

DJ Smurf, one of the promoters of 12 to 12, says, "Because the 12 to 12 team worked so hard to give the patrons a quality event, it's now time to relax and enjoy ourselves, and all are welcome to join us ... admission is free."

overwhelming success

As it relates to last week's staging of 12 to 12, DJ Smurf said this year's event was an overwhelming success. "This year, the crowd was almost two times the size we got last year, and there were no complaints this year. Food lines were long, but there was more than enough food for everyone. Thanks to our caterers, Top Chef and China Garden Restaurant. Also, Ben and Jerry's ice cream and Honey Bun, who catered for the sweet lovers."

He also added, "The two main all-inclusive bars and a few 'live drink stations' that made cocktail mixes on the spot were also satisfactory to our patrons, thanks to Bar Solutions. Special big-ups to Renaissance Disco, because patrons were really pleased with the music and sound quality."

The 'Hennessy Palace' was also an attraction for sponsors, who were offered Hennessy all night.

shuttle system

Next year will be even better, according to Smurf, as he says, "We had a concern for the traffic, so we are looking into the possibility of providing a shuttle system to reduce the number of vehicles going into the venue.

"But as it relates to the actual party, we are going to keep the same kind of vibe, same easy-access bars, and maybe even get more restaurants on board. Patrons can also look out for another international guest."
