NUFFY DENIES CLASH WITH RAGA |

![]() Contributed - Nuffy CURTIS CAMPBELL, STAR Writer MC Nuffy has denied rumours that there are plans for him to clash with radio personality Ragashanti at Sting. Since Sting 2008, MC Nuffy and Ragashanti have not been on good terms. Both MCs were supposed to have settled their dispute in a clash, however that did not occur. Now, Nuffy claims that since the 2011 Sting season, he has been hearing new rumours that he and Ragashanti are to clash at the annual Boxing Day stage show. However, Nuffy is adamant that there will be no clash between himself and the talk-show host. "Mi a see the Internet site dem a sey mi and Ragashanti a go clash a Sting and mi just want Jamaica know sey mi nuh deh pon dat because Raga nuh deh pon mi level," he said. mislead mi fans Nuffy disclosed that he hasn't heard any comment from Ragashanti as it relates to a clash with him. However, he still wants to dispel the rumour in an effort to prevent his fans from being misled. "Mi nuh hear it out a Raga mouth. But mi just a mek sure mi kill the rumour before it mislead mi fans dem," he said. According to the outspoken MC, he has one intention and that is to bring back Sting to where it was in its former years. "Mi a come brink back Sting. Mi nuh in a nuh talking with Raga. Mi a real MC. Mi buss artiste and bring out artiste. Some man a just one bag of gimmicks, the people dem a call mi and a seh the 'hurry come up' MC dem too boring. A just me and mi partner 'Sample Man' know how to entertain the people," he said. The veteran MC has high expectations for this year's staging of Sting, which he claims possesses the right formula. "Right now Sting look promising, It have the perfect formula. Iyara and Deva Bratt a war, Twins of Twins and Tony Matterhorn, Beenie and Bounty, Merciless and KipRich. It ago mad, plus mi a come fi call out Popcaan because Raga ago just lame up di thing, naah hide and talk," he said. MC Nuffy recently released a song called Mus Come A Road referring to the incarcerated Gaza boss Vybz Kartel. The song has already got more than 7,000 views since its upload on YouTube.com in October.
Efforts to contact Ragashanti for a comment were unsuccessful as calls to his cellphone went unanswered or to voicemail.
