Christian, lesbian friend |

Dear Pastor,
I have just found out that a good friend of mine is a lesbian and, because of that, I can't relate to her. She came to work with hickeys and told everyone that only a woman can please her. I want to cut her off. I don't know what to say. It is her life and she is free to do whatever she wants to do, but I find it hard to even look at her. She is a Christian. I don't want her as a friend anymore. Friend of Lesbian Dear Friend, You do not have to consider this girl your friend anymore if you do not wish to do so. However, try your very best not to condemn her. As you said in your letter, it is her life. If she tries to woo you to engage in lesbianism, you should just simply tell her you are not interested. But, I repeat, do not condemn or treat her as if she is an outcast. Both of you are working in the same organisation, so you have to communicate with her on the job. Please do not give the impression that you are scorning her. Talking to her will not make you a lesbian. Pastor |
