Paul Martin, the Canadian school teacher who was recently acquitted of trying to murder his wife in Jamaica says his life is now in danger. The teacher, who is now back in Canada, was accused of slashing his wife, Cathy Lee's throat, while they were on vacation in the island last December. In an interview with Canadian television network, City News, Martin said he has been receiving threats. Martin says he will be reporting to the police that his wife's family threatened him and he is fearful for his life. The teacher also said that he wants his young children back and has retained a family lawyer to fight for custody. He has also had discussions with his union to get his job back as a grade-five and grade-six teacher. |
