Romain encourages new singjay, Loyal Flames |
|||||
Romain Virgo - file Reggae's latest newcomer, Loyal Flames, set the stage ablaze with musical excitement at last weekend's Reggae Fever concert in St Ann.
The Mr Death singer, who was called to the stage by fellow camp member Romain Virgo, enjoyed a string of 'forwards' from the crowd after his rendition of the increasingly popular new single. Flames said the concert, which also featured the likes of Bounty Killer, Capelton, John Holt, Fantan Mojah, I-Octane, and others, "was definitely a great experience, and I'm thankful that the people seemed to enjoy it too". Fellow Vikings Label counterpart, Virgo, who had remained onstage to motivate and at times sing along with Loyal Flames, said: "I am definitely proud of the progress he's making and how people are catching on to the song. I remember I was in that position only a few years ago, so I always encourage anybody who is talented and wants to do music, because all of us can help to make a significant footprint as far as music is concerned, especially overseas." Virgo said he was currently working on new singles, in addition to promoting others, including, System (Feel Like Letting Go), the video for which was recently added to MTV's site, MTV Iggy, and the soca single, Mash Up Di Truck, on the Sesame Street Riddim. Romain is known for his slew of hits - Cyaa Sleep, Who Feels It Knows It, Rich In Love, Brown Skin Girl - and others, and recently became the first reggae artiste to perform at the American Country Music Awards, Nashville, Tennessee, in September of this year. |
