Rising dancehall artiste Max Element has been added to the line-up for Sting 2011. The artiste, who capped a successful year, scoring radio hits with 'Heartbreaker', 'Wash Cook and Clean', and his most recent effort, 'Pound a Carrot', is looking forward to delivering a credible performance at the annual stage show.

The artiste has been steadily building his name on the dancehall scene, having released his mixtape, Elementary, earlier this year, which was well received by fans alike.

Element delivered a credible performance at media personality Suzie Q's Video Alley 10th anniversary show in Ocho Rios a few weeks ago. Additionally, he performed at the Wolmer's barbecue where he gave a good account of himself.

A video for the Pound a Carrot single is expected to be released shortly.

Max Element recently recorded I Shall Return for producer Patrick 'Roach' Samuels' Rum Fire -rhythm project.

Additionally, he also featured on Board House Records' Dutty Cartoon rhythm with Bad from We Likkle.

Robber,for Code Red Music, is among his latest singles.
