Bradley Graham, who has now won three local tournaments in a row since his return from a stay abroad, took the men's singles event of the All Jamaica Badminton Championships at the weekend.

Graham defeated Garron Palmer in the final 21-11, 21-15 at the Constant Spring Golf Club's Racquet Complex.

Trinidadian Olympian Dr Debra O'Conner, who is Jamaican-born and resident in Jamaica, won the women's title with a 21-4, 21-12 win over junior champion Katherine Wynter.

Graham won two of the possible three titles. He teamed with Alya Lewis to defeat junior champions Anthony McNee and Wynter 21-16, 21-14 for the mixed doubles title before partnering Kashif Bernard in a losing men's doubles effort. They were beaten 21-17, 21-23, 21-10 by Palmer and Gerald Isaacs.

Lewis, in addition to winning the mixed doubles with Graham, also took the ladies doubles over O'Conner and Wynter 21-10, 9-21, 21-16.

In the junior events, Katherine Wynter defeated Sue-Ann Berry 21-15, 19-21, 21-13 to take the Under 19 title while Anthony McNee got the better of 2009 winner Dennis Coke 21-19, 21-19. Neither of the defending champions, Mikaylia Haldane who won in 2007 and 2008 as well as last year or Gerald Isaacs, both of whom were eligible to participate in this their last year in the junior ranks, took part in the junior tournament.
