Dear Pastor

Good day to you and your staff. I am humbly seeking your advice on a matter. I met this young man around two weeks ago. We went on a date together and have been spending quite a bit of time together in the two weeks we have known each other.

So far, I have heard some questionable things from two different sources about him and they have caused me to question whether I should continue to get to know him or not.

I asked him about one of the things I heard.

He was honest and told me the truth about it. After what I have heard from the second source, it scared me a little. It is nothing illegal nor violent, but I just feel like I don't want to become mixed up in any nonsense. He has been treating me very well and is very courteous but still I am just afraid his past may come back to haunt us.

If you have questions about this man's character, you should not go any further in this relationship. It is always better to be on the side of caution. Don't get yourself tied up with a man who has a questionable past.
