Appleton 12 to 12 all-inclusive Beach Party, held at Fort Clarence Beach, Hellshire, Portmore, on Sunday night.

Continuing on the success from previous years, Appleton 12 to 12 was filled with patrons who seemed to enjoy themselves at the party that was held at Fort Clarence Beach, Portmore, on Sunday.

While entering the venue in the evening, there was immense traffic. Inside, thousands of patrons filled every section of the venue. Among those present were Konshens, Darrio, Delus, Bounty Killer, Nikki Z, Tifa and I-Octane.

The 'Orient Expressions' theme was also seen in the design at the entrance, as well as some of the drink mixes. And, encouraged by the mixes, patrons danced to music being played by one of the promoters, DJ Smurf. He played Rihanna's Te Amo and mixed it with Mavado and Stacious' Come Into My Room. This was followed by the soca-sounding Love A Come Down by DeMarco.

Initially, Miami-based DJ Laz did a good job creating the excitement with a number of alternative songs. A chorale sang along and danced to Taio Cruz's Dynamite. Although Show Me Love is an old song, it was mixed well into his recent set. He also found favour among the patrons when he played Rihanna's We Found Love. As he went into hip-hop and rap songs, he was less hard-hitting. Nonetheless, Drake's Headlines and Rick Ross' I'm A Boss created some spark. Later, he went old school with artistes like Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre, Biggy and Bobby Brown.

ZJ Chrome later delivered a slew of Sizzla songs, including Rise To The Occasion and Just One Of Those Days. Thereafter, there were lots of 'forwards' for Jah Vinci's Watch Yuh Friends and I-Octane's My Life. He got patrons really dancing when he played Vybz Kartel's Bike Back and Mavado's Gal Wine.

Kurt Riley, during his set, switched the vibe with songs like Usher's Without You and LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem. He also played soca songs, as well as hip-hop songs on soca beats. Beenie Man's Wickedest Slam and Cobra's Press Trigger were hits among patrons.

Renaissance Disco started their set with slower songs like Mavado's One By One and Protoje's Rasta Love. Later, Vybz Kartel's Freaky Gal Part 2 had the women gyrating, Aidonia's Bad People got 'gun salutes' and Popcaan's Only Man She Want got a pull-up.

About 11:45 p.m. when patrons were about to leave, there was a short surprise performance from I-Octane, who did some new songs. Shortly after, there was Konshens, who got 'forwards' for snippets of songs like Do Sumn, Forward and Gal Dem A Talk. Darrio also got a bit of the spotlight with a good reception for School Fee.
