Police investigate 3,000lb ganja seizure - News - Jamaica Star

The police are now investigating the seizure of 3,000 pounds of ganja in St Ann on Wednesday.

Information reaching THE WEEKEND STAR is that about 8:40 p.m., the police conducted an operation along the coast in Priory, St Ann, during which 397 parcels containing compressed ganja were seized.

Reports are that eight 50-litre bottles of gasolene were also seized in the operation.

THE WEEKEND STAR understands that two persons are now in custody in connection with the find, however; their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
