Dilly Chris promotes song and video in jamaica |

Dilly Chris. - Contributed This monster combination of a song has won him a legion of young fans who love the sexy lyrical interplay and chemistry between the two artistes.
"The song has been getting airplay on ZIP and IRIE, but since the video came out, the 'ting tun up' in the streets. The song is being played at the all-inclusive parties and the dancehall start tek it up now. The other day, Foota Hype got a copy and him ah endorse it wicked, so it tun up," an enthusiastic-sounding Dilly Chris said in a release.
Since returning to Jamaica, Dilly Chris has performed the song on TVJ's Smile Jamaica and on HYPE TV's Up and Live. He has also done a blitz of radio interviews to promote the song. "It seems that a lot of persons who had heard the song before thought that it was Charlie Blacks who did it. I don't know why, but they know Dilly Chris' name now since the video came out and everything," he said.
Dilly Chris recently performed as a special guest during Sting Face Off Wednesdays at Club Riddim in New Kingston.
In the meantime, the Sweat video continues to do well on the popular Youtube channel, on the South Florida Hot 100 video charts, and it is presently in rotation on CVM, RE and HYPE TV.
On the strength of this single, Dilly Chris performed on two shows over the ATI weekend in Negril, Westmoreland in August. One of the shows was called 'Heatwave' and the other was a performance at the Jungle nightclub alongside deejay Assassin.
The artiste has also released the video for his follow-up single, Sunshine, on Youtube.
"The response has been amazing so far to the video, it is going to be another winner," he said.
