sixth edition of different strokes Retro party to be held

Party promoter Sean Greenfield is gearing up for the sixth staging of his party, Different Strokes 6.0 Retro Party, to be held November 19 at Chances, Negril.

The promoter promises that Different Strokes 6.0 will bring a lot of excitement to the patrons, as the line-up of selectors will spin the best music of '70s, '80s and '90s

"The patrons can expect nothing less than lots of fun and non-stop dancing. It's all about more music and less talk. By now everybody knows that Different Strokes is all about party fans having a good time as they listen to the best music of the past being play by some of the best DJs in Jamaica," he said.

DJs on the line-up include DJ Marvin from FAME FM, Yohan Stephens from Kool FM, DJ Slim and DJ Omar from Negril.

Since its initial staging in 2009, Different Strokes has grown to become one the hottest retro-parties in Jamaica. The response to the event has been so great that it is now held twice per year and the promoter said that patrons are even asking for a third staging. Greenfield plans to expand the series next year.

Sponsors for this staging of the event includes Charley's J.B Rum, R.A.B Entertainment, Sunset on the Beach Resort, World of Sports and UG's Cellular, just to name a few.
