RETV 5-7 LIVE had its genesis in May 2009 with host Rennae 'Lady Rennae' Garel. It was successful and the company has decided to continue with its concept - delivering entertainment quality to its viewers. "The secret to the success of the show lies in the well-balanced combination of both hosts," says RETV 5-7 LIVE producer Kerie-Ann 'Kiki' Lewis. "They all bring their own flavour and personality to the show, which makes it more unique, and the interaction element, where we included the public. This unique structure seems to appeal to everyone, and we're constantly ensuring that suggestions and changes in the industry is incorporated in 5-7 LIVE." Speaking in an interview after a sizzling show last Saturday, the five hosts admitted outside of their distinct personalities, the hard-working production team and the support from each other have played a role in RETV 5-7 LIVE being the 'talk of the town'. The heart-warming Ramona echoed, "...it's good working along with Carlette, Yanique, Kharma and Matthew each week, you learn so much - moreover, I like the deep commitment from the technical team which have guided us in delivering the best." Carlette supported the comment, "it's a team effort .... as presenters, we can't do it alone and I must say lot of respect to the technical team". When questioned about how he feels being the show's only male host, Mothersill laughed, "I'm the husband for all the ladies,". After cackling for a while he continued, "It's a good feeling, they're supportive and being around them week after week is absolutely amazing; they're talented ladies."
