Christian Pen hold Portsmouth 1-1

Local clubs Christian Pen and Portsmouth played to a 1-1 scoreline in a LIME St Catherine FA Major League match at the Christian Pen field last weekend.

The draw saw Christian Pen moving to four points from three games, while Portsmouth climbed to two points from three games. Devon Wilson opened the scoring in the 33rd minute from the penalty spot for Christian Pen, while Kevin Williams equalised for Portsmouth in the 60th minute.

In another all-Portmore match-up, Wanderers and Waterford-based Rodwood shared four goals in a 2-2 draw at Waterford High school playing field. Cleveland Hall (24th)and Andrew Austin (35th) scored for Rodwood, while Andrew Richardson's 7th-minute penalty and 55th-minute strike scored both Wanderers' goals.

In other games, Tru-Juice went down to their second loss of the season as they were surprised 1-0 by Dunbeholden, as Davion Moyston (56th) netted the lone goal. DB Basovak dropped their first points of this year's campaign as they were held 1-1 by McCook's Pen. Kirk Newmann's 27th-minute goal gave Basovak the lead, but McCook's Pen prolific striker, Olanzo Brown, scored shortly after.
