A woman was burnt to death in a fire that destroyed a five bedroom house in Swallowfield, St Andrew yesterday morning.

She has been identified as Terry Ann Baker. Residents report that about 2:30 am residents saw smoke coming from the dwelling and raised an alarm.

"Nothing was saved in the blaze," said a man who identified himself as a family of the victim.
