Police say ... No freaky Kartel video

Vybz Kartel o

The police have denied having any sex videos and toys that were allegedly retrieved from the properties of incarcerated deejay Vybz Kartel.

Over the past two weeks, rumours have been swirling around that a number of videos and toys were found during searches conducted after the arrest of the deejay.

Within the last few days, the rumours have intensified.

dildos and anal beads

It was being alleged that a number of dildos and anal beads as well as KY Jelly were found at Kartel's Norbrook and Havendale homes in St Andrew.

It was also alleged that at least one video was found where the deejay was seen engaging in a 'sexual taboo'.

Over the last few days, the rumours have sparked debates on several social-networking sites.

On one of the local entertainment websites, one person commented, "Whoiii ... do I see an episode of Zekes replay here."

Another person said, "It's a shame, Kartel is not a real man."

When contacted yesterday, however, Assistant Commissioner of Police Ealan Powell told THE WEEKEND STAR, "I have no such information, this is the first time I am hearing something like this."

murder cases

Just yesterday, the investigating officer in one of the murder cases brought against the entertainer informed the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's court that the police has video evidence implicating the accused in the murder of Clive 'Lizard' Williams.

This new development has now led many persons to question if police really found the items at the deejay's home.

Vybz Kartel, real name Adidja Palmer, was charged on October 3 for the July murder of businessman/promoter Barrington 'Bossie' Burton in Portmore, St Catherine.

Less than three weeks later, the deejay was slapped with a second murder charge. The charge stemmed from the August killing of Clive 'Lizard' Williams in Havendale, St Andrew.

The police said Williams was beaten and stabbed to death over the loss of an illegal firearm.
