The police in Manchester are investigating the circumstances surrounding the October 28 killing of an eight-year-old girl in Manchester.

Sadie Mclean was found with her throat slashed near her home in George's Valley, in the parish.

Her mother, who was also reportedly seriously injured, remains hospitalised.

It is reported that about 9 a.m., residents discovered the child with her throat slashed.

THE STAR also understands that residents also found Mclean's mother with wounds to her throat at home.

Both were reportedly taken to hospital, where Mclean was pronounced dead, and her mother admitted in critical, but stable condition.

Meanwhile, it is believed that the incident was as result of a domestic dispute.
