LIME supports musical great |

The company recently joined the Friends of Bob Andy Song Foundation and the RJR Communications Group in their efforts to raise funds for the reggae/rocksteady pioneer, who earlier this year fell ill and is now being treated. The fund-raiser dubbed 'Bob Andy Unplugged' will see a variety of great Jamaican musical influences paying tribute to the I've Got to Go Back Home and Too Experienced singer on October 28 at Jamaica College's Karl Hendrickson Auditorium. Patrons are being promised a grand spectacle with friends and well-wishers from the musical fraternity, some across multiple genres, who will perform the best of Bob Andy's works. Extending its entertainment arm in support of the charitable event, LIME will also offer subscribers to LIME Mobile TV the opportunity to view the concert in live on Peppa - which airs on Channel 1. Garfield Sinclair, LIME managing director, has committed to the event, hailing "Bob Andy has touched so many persons across the globe with his music and has made such an impact on Jamaica.
