Although it got off to a late start, Popcaan was flooded with questions and also entertained his fans during the online and phone chat at The Gleaner Company yesterday.

Fifty minutes later than the scheduled 5 p.m. starting time, Popcaan started the online chat, which is one of the activities for STAR of the Month. With words like 'why', 'priests' and 'pope', Popcaan answered several questions from his fans. There were persons asking about his relationship status, children, Vybz Kartel's imprisonment, his recent projects, booking info and places that he plans to visit.

There was even one female who said she loved his lips and would like to have them.

"When mi give yuh my lips dem, weh mi do?" he responded laughing.

One fan even asked him about the number of children he has.

To this he said, "Mi nah waste no time, nah waste no juice. No Bling Dawg ting round here. No 40-year-old virgin."

He ended that segment by treating fans with songs like Raving, She Gone and Only Man She Want.

When he got to the phone chat, he was constantly getting calls. There were even groups of persons calling and reciting his songs songs like Raving and Only Man She Want. Several women also wanted his phone number, some screamed and others just could not stop talking.

In the end Popcaan said he really enjoyed talking to his fans.

"It mad, mi enjoy it. The fans dem crazy but mi still enjoy it to the fullest. It was a very nice vibe," he told THE STAR.

While he enjoyed the month and gained popularity as a result, he said there was a drawback to everything with Vybz Kartel's incarceration.

"Wid the whole STAR of the Month, everything all right but the month neva too nice as you can see what is going on," he said.

Popcaan added: "but mi think people get fi know mi more. Thank you for having me as STAR of the Month."
