On Saturday at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre on Hope Road, St Andrew, DJ Nicholas will be launching his new album called School Of Volume. He says it will also be an opportunity for his fans and wellwishers to experience a good concert, while celebrating his birthday.

Unlike previous occasions when his album launch was a free event, DJ Nicholas says this time patrons will pay $800 to enter and they will also receive a copy of the album.

better crowd

"Really and truly I would do the event for free but it costs a lot to do an event. Even though we had thousands (previously), less than quarter of the audience bought the CD," he told THE STAR.

This time around, he said there will be better crowd control and "everybody that comes would have automatically bought the CD."

At the school-themed event, he said there will also be perfor-mances by other artistes who appeared on the album. Some of these acts include Jermaine Edwards, Jason Mighty, Dunamis, Kevin Smith, Positive, Lypher, DAJ and Sister Sasha.

These artistes will help him sing songs from the album like Holy Ghost Church, Divine Mathematics, Bad English, Rock Of My Life and Volume.

"Every song relates to schooling in some way. Everything will be about schooling," DJ Nicholas said.

For the event that will kick off at 7 p.m., DJ Nicholas says he hopes patrons will be entertained while receiving the ministry.

"I don't want it to be a regular concert. I want people to enjoy themselves and feel the presence of God and some persons will feel saved. Hopefully we get a good support," he told THE STAR.
