Unlucky meeting |

Dear Pastor, I am a 39-year-old woman living in Mandeville. I was in a relationship with a medical doctor for over a year. I couldn't understand him, so I decided to end the relationship. I have been talking to a man on the phone but I have never met him personally. The first time he planned to meet with me, he got into an accident. The second time somebody stole his cellphone from him and the third time he hit a man off the road and killed him. I don't know what is happening. I am confused. I am wondering if we should not meet. Is the devil trying something? I need your opinion. Unlucky Dear Unlucky, The doctor was a time waster so you were quite correct in leaving him. But this new man is having so many problems that it is natural for you to wonder whether something has gone wrong. The truth is, it smells fishy to me. How do you know that this man is real? Have you considered that you should probably check him out to see whether he is speaking the truth? He doesn't have to know what you are doing. Do you have a photograph of him? Do you know where he works and lives? You are a grown woman. Isn't this man trying to make a fool out of you? I suggest that you try to find out everything you can about him. Ask questions to people you think should know him without giving away yourself. And if you plan to go to see him, please do not go alone. Take another adult in your age group with you. Pastor |
