Volleyballers bow out |

Guadalajara, Mexico: Jamaica's men's beach volleyball duo, Dellan Brown and Namari Gordon, bowed out of the competition at the XVI Pan American Games yesterday after three consecutive defeats. Brown and Gordon lost their final match, 21-9, 21-15, to Guatemala's Andy Blanco and Erick Garrido at the Pan American Volleyball Stadium in Puerto Vallarta, 331 kilometres to the west of Guadalajara on the Pacific coach of Mexico. Earlier, they were beaten 21-11, 21-13 by the Puerto Rican duo
Robert Rodriquez and Christopher Underwood on Monday in their opening match before going down 21-13, 21-9 to Argentinia's Pablo Suarez and Santiago Etchegaray on Tuesday. |
