For Star of the Month, Popcaan, a regular night out can be one of three things, being in the recording studio, at a stage show or partying. On Thursday night it was no different as the 'Gaza Prefect' made his way to Club Privilege in New Kingston where he chilled with friends and members of the entertainment industry.

Popcaan arrived at the club at 2:45 a.m, accompanied by his entourage.

photographic moments

The entourage swiftly filled one area of the club and proceeded to chat among themselves while ensuring that Popcaan was comfortable.

The artiste took the time to interact with some of his fans, and also shared photographic moments with Gaza loyals.

Decked in grey straight jeans, white fitted cap and black T-shirt, the artiste posed as patrons attempted to capture his image on their cameras.

The new trend on the party scene is to be preoccupied with BlackBerry cellphones during the party.

And quite noticeably, Popcaan also fell victim to this practice as he bumped his head while typing on his phone for a significant period of the party.

He then grouped up members of his entourage, and headed to the bar, where he ordered his preferred beverage Ciroc and orange juice.

When asked if he was going to drive, he replied "Mi naah drink more dan mi can manage mi good man," he said.

Popcaan was later greeted by legendary athlete Usain Bolt, who has always publicly made mention of his allegiance to the Gaza camp.

Popcaan and Usain chatted for a while attempting to shout over the loud music while some patrons were desperately trying to get a picture of the two together.

wheels of steel

Disc jockey Collin Hines, who was on the wheels of steel, also acknowledged the presence of the young artiste by echoing his signature sound over the microphone.

"Yaaoooow," he said, then going on to play Popcaan's Raving.

The crowd erupted and the DJ had to play it twice while Popcaan knocked the table in approval of the selection.

After much dancing, chilling, socialising and drinking, it was time to leave for another party.

The STAR along with Popcaan exited the club at 3:45 a.m., and headed for Bembe Thursdays where the artiste intended to complete his night of flossing.

However, the gate officials at Bembe refused to let in some of the members of his (Popcaan's) entourage, and the deejay decided that he would just call it a night.

"Yaaow uno come een yaah man, mi a cut, dem ting ya only cause trouble," he said, while he headed to his car with his followers.
