Ricky Ticky seeks musical break with new single

Dancehall artiste Ricardo Buford, aka Ricky Ticky, is confident that his latest single which is titled Fighters will give him the musical breakthrough that he has yearned for since he began his career.

The single which was done in tandem with another talented upcoming artiste, who goes by the name Dilingua, was released to radio a few weeks ago on the Rough Channel Music imprint and has been enjoying steady rotation on top local radio stations.

Ricky Ticky is also promoting other singles including Fi Mi Gyal Dem Nuh Likki Likki, On and On and Road is Rough butLife is Sweet.

The artiste, whose real name is Ricardo Burford, developed a passion for music from an early age. He won a talent competition at the age of 10, which opened the path for his musical journey.

"At around age 10, I won a competition at Paradise in Pembroke that's when my dreams started to become reality," said Ricky.

He lists Capleton, Roundhead, and the late reggae icon Bob Marley among his musical influences.

Performance wise, Ricky Ticky has performed at Sting 2007 and the Stone Love anniversary party among others.
