THE STAR understands that the artiste who was charged in a cross case with about five other complainants told Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey that they wanted to discontinue with the matter.

The matter was dismissed for want of prosecution.

Allegations are that on Sunday June 12, about 2 a.m, the deejay was about to enter a dance in the area when she was doused with a liquid substance believed to be urine mixed with pepper.

Further allegations are that she retaliated by throwing several blows at her attacker.

In 2009, the former Vybz Kartel protégé changed her name to Lisa Hyper after being booted from the Portmore Empire camp.

Lisa Hyper is known for songs such as Bills, Trust, Must Get Mine and Nuh Stress Mi Out which features dancehall star Beenie Man.
