Man offered bail in Holness' murder case - News - Jamaica Star

The 22-year-old man accused of killing Brian Holness, the son of Patricia Holness, head of the Registrar General's Department, last month was offered $300,000 bail when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.

He is Delano Hayden of Windsor Road, St Catherine, who is to return to court on November 23.

The court was told that the case file was complete.

It was reported that 19-year-old Holness, a university student, was shot while with a group of friends who were playing with an illegal firearm. He was rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
