Armed with his slew of recent 'Dancehall Duppy' songs, dancehall artiste/selector Tony Matterhorn says he is eager to do lyrical battle with the Twin of Twins at Sting this year.

"I been warring wit people, I care little bit, jus bring dem come mek mi beat di bwoy dem," Matterhorn declared in a recent interview with THE WEEKEND STAR.

Matterhorn, who has been engaged in a back and forth lyrical battle with the Twin of Twins since, says a showdown at Sting is definitely something he believes fans will want to see.

"I definitely think that the fans would want to see a showdown between me and the Twins because some good songs were done an wi nah guh deny di fans them of that. And the thing is, these guys are acting like I'm their third brother, mi neva know sey a triplet dem modda did have? Mi woulda want di clash to fi di people dem si sey dem (The Twins) nuh too intelligent and I am not their third brother," Matterhorn said.

"Dem a ask wey mi run gone, but mi neva know sey a me an those bwoys born an mi cyan mek an independent step. Cause as me turn my page an guh on to sum'n else, dem a bawl bout a wey Matterhorn run gone," he said.

get monotonous

The selector further said; "Matterhorn had a career long time before they existed an mi nah guh spen mi entire life a debate di same topic. Anything wey get monotonous, get boring. Dem a mek it seem like dem only have eyes fi Matterhorn, a girl dem suppose to have eyes fah," Matterhorn warned.

Matterhorn and the Twins have been at odds over the last four months after it was reported that the Twins accused him of fighting against their music during an interview on an Atlanta-based radio station.

Matterhorn then publicly lashed out at the Twins, who in turn recorded a song aimed at him called Cancer Free World. Matterhorn quickly answered with The Sin of Twins, and both have been throwing lyrical blows since.

Now, Matterhorn says the battle will come to a head at Sting and fans can definitely look out for him on this year's show as he boasts, "I am Sting, Laing book me from July, from the first Dancehall Duppy tune drop him call mi an sey 'Madgie, yuh book fi Sting' an by di time di second Dancehall Duppy came out Laing call mi again an sey 'Yow, yuh double booked'. We haven't really done the paperwork for the booking as yet, but we have a verbal agreement, me a mussy di first artiste wey book fi Sting."

And when he enters the Sting stage, Matterhorn says, "Jus look out to being entertained and shocked and in awe, cause I'm Mr Spontaneous, yuh neva know what yuh gonna get!"
