Water disruption to affect communities |

|
Several Corporate Area and St Catherine communities will experience a disruption in their water supply today from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
According to the The National Water Commission (NWC), this is because the Tulloch Springs System in St Catherine will be taken out of operation to facilitate repair work. Areas in St Catherine that will be impacted include Hellshire, West Port, Gregory Park, West Bay, Christian Gardens, Bridgeport, Meadowvale, Hamilton Gardens, Cedar Grove Estate, Passage Fort, Cedar Manor, Marine Park, Watson Grove, Westchester, Independence City, Portsmouth, Cumberland, Mount Royal, Edgewater, Naggo Head, Southboro, Bridgeview, Newland Road, Waterford, Braeton, Kent Village, Eltham Park and surrounding areas. Sections of the Corporate Area that will be affected include Spanish Town Road and all roads leading off, Molynes Road and all roads leading off, Washington Boulevard and all roads leading off and sections of downtown Kingston. The NWC said it sincerely regrets any inconvenience that may be caused and encourage customers in the areas mentioned to store water for use during the periods of disruption. |
